  • 700g - Chicken (cut into 4cm cubes)
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 2 tbsp - Butter
  • 6 Garlic pods(chopped)
  • 5cm piece Ginger (cut into very thin pieces)
  • 8 fresh red or Green chillies (shredded)
  • 2 Onions (large)
  • 2 tsp curry masala powder
  • Salt as required
  • 2 Chicken soup cubes
  • 150ml - water
  • 5 Green chillies (slit lengthwise)
  • 2 Tomatoes (cut into thin slices)
  • 15g - Coriander leaves (chopped)
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • How to Make Curry Masala Chicken Fry:

    1. Heat the oil in a wok.
    2. Fry the chicken until it is sealed, stirring frequently.
    3. Remove from oil and put in a pan.
    4. Heat the butter in a wok and fry the garlic, ginger, and chillies for one minute.
    5. Add the onions and fry till they become brown in colour.
    6. Add half of the curry masala powder and stir well.
    7. Add the chicken pieces and salt and saute for 10 minutes.
    8. Add the fried onions, soup cubes, and water to the chicken and mix well. Cook till done and dry.
    9. Add the green chillies, tomato slices, and the remaining curry masala powder, and saute for three minutes.
    10. Garnish with coriander leaves and a squeeze of lemon juice.
    11. Serve hot.
