Ingredients

  • Tinned pineapples - 1
  • Sponge cakes - 3 to 4 slices
  • Fresh cream - 1 tin
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 l
  • Custard powder - 2 tbsp
  • Cherry and jelly - for decorating

How to Make Custard Pineapple

  • First boil the milk, then add the beaten cream and custard powder mixed with a little milk.
  • Now heat in low flame and keep stirring till it thickens for 3 to 4 minutes
  • In a bowl add the sliced cakes (the cakes should be cut into very thin slices)
  • Then pour a little syrup over the cakes
  • Then add the pineapples cut into small pieces
  • Then pour 1/4 of the above custard and repeat the same process
  • Make about 3 layers and in the last layer on top pour the remaining custard and decorate with cherries and jelly.
  • Keep it in the fridge for about 6 hrs until its set and then serve
