How to Make Dahi Bhindi

  • Wash and wipe ladysfinger dry. Chop off the ends and keep aside.
  • Grind pepper and ginger to a fine paste.
  • In a pan, add red chilli, cumin, slit green chillies, coriander powder, turmeric powder, besan and salt.
  • Add the ladysfinger and cook for five minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Now add ginger-pepper paste and mix well.
  • Lower heat, add yoghurt, and cook covered for 5 mins, stirring now and then till ladyfinger is cooked.
  • Serve hot with rotis or phulka.
