  • Lauki - 1 small
  • Curd - 2 cup
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Red pepper - 1 tsp
  • Cumin - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seed - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - a pinch
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil For seasoning

How to Make Dahiwali Lauki

  • Mix coriander powder, garam masala, red pepper, turmeric powder and salt into the curd
  • Pour little oil into the pan when hot, add mustard seeds, cumin and green chillies, then add the mix made out of curd and allow it to boil for 2 to 3 mins
  • Then add the chopped lauki and leave it for a few sec
  • Transfer this to the pressure cooker and allow it to cook, upto two whisles
