Ingredients

  • 150 g - Channa dal
  • 150 g - moong dal
  • 2-3 - Potatoes
  • 2 - Onions
  • 3-4 tsp - gram flour
  • 150 g - Cottage cheese
  • Mashed bread crumbs for coating
  • Few Spinach leaves
  • Red pepper to taste
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Dal and Aloo Patty

  • Soak the dals overnight, drain in the morning.
  • Peel and grate the potatoes. Mix all the ingredients.
  • Divide the mixture in small balls and give them a shape you like.
  • Coat them in the bread crumbs.
  • Heat the oil. Deep fry all the patties.
  • Serve hot with coriander and mint chutney.
