  • left over Dal - 1/2 cup
  • whole Wheat flour - 2 cups
  • salt and chilli powder - to taste
  • Mint leaves - 1 tbsp, chopped
  • Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp, chopped
  • oil or Ghee - to cook the Parathas
  • How to Make Dal Parathas:

    1. Mix whole wheat flour with salt, chilli powder, mint and coriander leaves.
    2. Add the Dal and mix. Add enough water and make soft but not sticky dough.
    3. Divide the dough into 6 balls. Roll out to one and a half cm thick rounds and cook both sides on a hot Tawa with oil or Ghee. Serve with a Raitha.
