  • 2 cup- grated ash gourd
  • 2 cup - sugar
  • 3 tsp - ghee
  • 1/2 tsp - cardamom powder
  • 3 tsp - rava
  • Finely chopped cashewnuts or raisins

How to Make Damroot

  • Fry rava until light brown and keep aside
  • Fry the cashew and raisins
  • Boil the grated ash gourd, add sugar and a pinch of cardamom powder
  • Cook until it starts to become thick
  • Add the fried rava and keep stirring
  • Then add the cashews or raisins and stir for a while
  • Remove from fire and serve hot
