Ingredients

  • 2 cup- grated Ash gourd
  • 2 cup - Sugar
  • 3 tsp - Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • 3 tsp - rava
  • Finely chopped Cashewnuts or Raisins
  • How to Make Damroot:

    1. Fry rava until light brown and keep aside
    2. Fry the cashew and raisins
    3. Boil the grated ash gourd, add sugar and a pinch of cardamom powder
    4. Cook until it starts to become thick
    5. Add the fried rava and keep stirring
    6. Then add the cashews or raisins and stir for a while
    7. Remove from fire and serve hot
