Ingredients

  • Maida - 1 kg
  • Sugar- 60 gm
  • Butter- 60 gm
  • Yeast- 50 gm
  • Salt - 15 to 20 gm
  • Bread improver- 5 gm
  • Gluten - 6 gm
  • Milk - 300 ml
  • Butter for folding in - 400gm

How to Make

  • Knead the flour into dough with all the mentioned ingredients
  • Rest the dough for at least 45 minutes.
  • Roll the dough to 1/8 of an inch.
  • Divide the butter into 2. Apply butter on to the rolled dough and book fold it. Repeat the same butter folding with the rest of the butter. Rest for 10 mins under refrigeration.
  • Roll it again and give a plain book folding.
  • Chill enough to be convenient.
  • Roll again and cut to the required size and shapes.
  • Inter prove till light to touch.
  • Egg wash and bake at 250 C till it reaches gold brown.
