How to Make Delicious Matar Paneer

  • Heat oil in a pan and fry paneer cubes on a low flame to a light golden colour. Drain and keep aside.
  • In the same pan, add cumin, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom and saute.
  • Add onions and fry to a golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a min and add all the powders.
  • Give the masala a good stir and blend in the tomato puree and green peas.
  • Let the mixture bubble and then slowly stir in the yogurt and cook on a low flame for till the peas are boiled.
  • Add the paneer cubes and cook till the masala coats the paneer.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
