  • 4 cups - rice
  • 2 cups - Bengal gram dal (channa dal)
  • 1 cup - urad dal

How to Make Dhokla Flour

  • Wash and soak in plenty of water for 2-3 hours.
  • Drain, spread on a clean kitchen cloth till dry.
  • Dry roast till all the moisture is dried up.
  • Grind to the texture of fine semolina.
  • This may be done in a home flour mill or at the commercial flour mills.
  • Store in a dry, airtight container.
