How to Make Drumstick and Urad Dal Vada

  • Wash, scrape and cut drumsticks into 3-inch pieces
  • Boil with some salt till soft, (but not mushy)
  • Scoop out the flesh and keep aside.
  • Grind dal with salt and minimum amount of water to a thick fine paste.
  • Add all the ingredients except oil, mix well.
  • Make small round vada and deep fry in hot oil till light golden in colour.
  • Serve vada hot with any chutney/sauce.
