  • 2 cups - boiled rice
  • 1 cup - grated coconut
  • 1 cup - drumstick leaves
  • oil for frying
  • salt to taste

How to Make Drumstick Leaves Adai

  • Wash and soak the rice for about 3 to 4 hours.
  • Grind into a coarse batter (like rava). Add coconut to the batter.
  • Add salt and the drumstick leaves and mix well.
  • Heat a tawa. Drop a ladleful of the batter and spread out like a dosa. Drizzle some oil around the adai.
  • When one side is well cooked, turn over and add a little oil.
  • When both sides are cooked, remove and serve with chutney, sambar or idli chilli powder.
