Ingredients

  • 2 cups - boiled Rice
  • 1 cup - grated Coconut
  • 1 cup - Drumstick leaves
  • oil for frying
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Drumstick Leaves Adai:

    1. Wash and soak the rice for about 3 to 4 hours.
    2. Grind into a coarse batter (like rava). Add coconut to the batter.
    3. Add salt and the drumstick leaves and mix well.
    4. Heat a tawa. Drop a ladleful of the batter and spread out like a dosa. Drizzle some oil around the adai.
    5. When one side is well cooked, turn over and add a little oil.
    6. When both sides are cooked, remove and serve with chutney, sambar or idli chilli powder.
