Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Mutton pieces
  • 2 - onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - black pepper powder
  • a handful - Curry leaves (roasted in a pan and ground to a fine powder)
  • 1 glass - water
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 2 tbsp - Curry leaves
  • 1 - Capsicum finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar
  • salt to taste

How to Make Dry Curry Gosht

  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pressure cooker and fry the chopped onions to golden brown.
  • Add ginger paste and garlic paste, then the mutton pieces and fry.
  • Add red chilli and black pepper powder and mix well.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Add curry leaves powder and mix well.
  • Add a glass of water and pressure-cook until the mutton is done.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add the curry leaves.
  • Add the chopped capsicum, the cooked mutton pieces and stir until the water evaporates.
  • Add vinegar and mix well. Serve with rice and dal.
