  • Dates - 12 ounce
  • Fig - 12 ounce
  • Raisin - 6 ounce
  • Apricot - 6 ounce
  • Mixed nuts (chopped cashews, pistas and almonds) - a handful

How to Make Dry Fruit and Nut Cake

  • Cut the figs, dates and apricots into smaller pieces. Put the cut dry fruits and raisins in a food processor and blend into a smooth paste.
  • Dry toast the mixed nuts in an oven or microwave.
  • Transfer the dry fruit paste and toasted nuts to a bowl and mix well with your hands.
  • Prepare a tray with wax paper at the bottom and pour the mixture little by little. Spread out little by little and cover with a cling wrap. Use a flat bottom cup to even out the spread.
  • Refrigerate the tray for 20 minutes. Cut the mixture into cubes and serve.
