Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - palkova/khova
  • 200 g - dried Figs (around 30)
  • 1 cup - dried Dates
  • 1.5 cups - Almonds
  • 100 g - Walnuts (around 15 half kernels)
  • 1.25 cups - Pista
  • 1.5 tsp - ghee/butter (to grease)
  • How to Make Dry Fruit Palkova:

    1. Dry-roast the almonds, walnuts and pista separately.
    2. Finely chop all the nuts, dates and figs.
    3. Take the khova in a big heavy bowl.
    4. Add in the chopped dry fruit and nuts, a little at a time, and mix with a spatula.
    5. Pour onto a greased tray and let it set.
