  • 2 cup - Self raising flour
  • 3 tbsp - Butter
  • 1/4 tbsp - baking powder
  • 3/4 cup - yogurt (Dahi)
  • 2 cup - Sugar
  • 4 tbsp - water
  • 2 tbsp - oil/ghee
  • How to Make Easy Balushai:

    1. Mix well the baking powder and butter to self raising powder. Then add yogurt and make a dough of it and just let it rest for 1/2 hr.
    2. Now take the dough and make small balls and in each ball press little with your thumb on the top.
    3. When you finish all the balls, deep fry it in a kadai, using 2 tbsp oil/ghee, in low flame till it becomes golden.
    4. And remove it in paper sheet.
    5. Make a syrup of sugar by adding 4 tbsp water.
    6. When the syrup becomes thick (1 tar) put all the balls one by one immediately to coat.
    7. When cool it is ready to serve.
