Take 1 cup of rava. Add 1 cup of maida to this and add 3 cups of water.
The batter should be runny. Now add salt and finely chopped onion.
In a small kadai, fry the cumin seeds and pepper in a little oil and add to the batter. Now, you can start making dosas immediately.
To make dosas, put a little oil on a tawa and pour the batter unevenly on it. Do not try to do it in a circular motion like for a regular dosa. Let one side cook, and then flip over and cook the other side. Makes thin, crisp dosas in 2 minutes. Serve with coconut chutney.
