  • 1.5 cups - kaju powder (cashew nut)
  • 1/2 cup - mawa (75 g) (khoya)
  • 1/2 cup - sugar (heaped)
  • 1/2 tsp - cardamom powder

How to Make Easy Kaju Barfi

  • Add water to sugar, heat and prepare into thick syrup.
  • Mix mawa, cashew powder with the syrup, continue stirring on low flame.
  • When the mixture starts leaving the sides of pan or when white bubbles start emanating from the bottom of pan add cardamom powder, put off the heat.
  • When the barfi cools down a little, pour it into a greased thali.
  • Allow it to cool down and set before cutting it into pieces.
