  • 3.5 cups - Cashew nut powder
  • 1. 75 cups - Sugar
  • 1.75 cups - water
  • 2 tbsp - liquid glucose
  • 1.5 tbsp - Ghee
  • Silver foil
  • How to Make Easy Kaju Katli:

    1. Cook sugar and water together till the temperature reaches 118 degree C or when the syrup becomes sticky, and when pulled between two fingers it forms threads.
    2. Add liquid glucose and ghee and stir well.
    3. Remove the mixture from the flame, continue to stir and add cashew powder.
    4. Stir till the temperature comes down to 65 degree C, and if necessary, add some water.
    5. Knead the mixture into soft dough.
    6. Grease a flat surface with some ghee and spread the dough and maintain approximately 1 cm thickness.
    7. Apply butter paper on it to smoothen out the surface.
    8. Remove the paper and cut diamond shaped pieces.
    9. Serve after decorating it with silver foil.
