  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 boiled potato
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 spring onion, finely cut
  • 2 chillies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. ajwain
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • a pinch of garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to Make Easy Paratha

  • Mix the wheat flour and rice flour.
  • Smash the potatoes and add this to the flour along with all the other vegetables and mix well.
  • Add all the other ingredients except oil and knead well to form a soft dough.
  • Add a little water if required, and keep aside for half an hour; then add 2 teaspoons of oil and knead once again. Roll out and shallow-fry the parathas till golden brown.
  • Serve hot with yogurt and pickle.
