Ingredients

  • 2 cups Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup Rice flour
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 boiled Potato
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 spring onion, finely cut
  • 2 chillies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. ajwain
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • a pinch of Garam Masala
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying
  • How to Make Easy Paratha:

    1. Mix the wheat flour and rice flour.
    2. Smash the potatoes and add this to the flour along with all the other vegetables and mix well.
    3. Add all the other ingredients except oil and knead well to form a soft dough.
    4. Add a little water if required, and keep aside for half an hour; then add 2 teaspoons of oil and knead once again. Roll out and shallow-fry the parathas till golden brown.
    5. Serve hot with yogurt and pickle.
