Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup - Poha
  • 2 tsp - mustard
  • 3 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 1 medium size- Onions
  • 3 - Green chilli
  • Curry leaves
  • 3 tsp - oil
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Easy Poha (Aval) Upma:

    1. Heat oil in a kadai and fry mustard, urad dal, onion, green chilli for about 3 to 5 mins. Fry until onion turns pink.
    2. Wash poha or aval(flaked rice) and soak it for 2 mins, drain the water.
    3. Put aval (poha) into kadai and salt.
    4. Cook on stove for 5 mins.
    5. Serve Poha Upma hot.
