  • 6 to 7 - potatoes
  • 1 tbsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - dhania powder
  • 1 tbsp - garam masala
  • 2 tbsp - finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 16 - bread slices
  • Oil to shallow fry
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Easy Potato Surprise

  • Boil and peel the potatoes.
  • Add salt, chilli powder, dhania powder, garam masala, and coriander leaves to the potatoes.
  • Mash the potatoes and make dough.
  • Cut the bread slice into half.
  • Pour water on one piece of the bread and squeeze to take out the water.
  • Then put approximately 1 teaspoon of potato dough in the centre and fold to seal it.
  • Do the same with the remaining slices.
  • Heat oil in a pan and shallow-fry the potato surprise till it turns golden brown in colour.
  • Drizzle more oil if required.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce.
