Ingredients

  • 1 cup - roasted semiya
  • 1/2 cup - grated Carrot
  • 1/4 cup - grated Coconut
  • 1 - Onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1-inch piece - Ginger (chopped)
  • 1 - Tomato (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 350ml - water
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves, to garnish
  • How to Make Easy semiya pulav:

    1. Heat oil in a pan, and saute onion, ginger, and green chillies (the colour must not change.).
    2. Add in the chopped tomatoes and saute well.
    3. Add enough salt and water and let it boil.
    4. Once the water starts bubbling, add the roasted semiya, mix, and cook covered for 5 minutes.
    5. Add in the grated carrot and coconut and garnish with coriander leaves; serve hot.
