Ingredients

  • 6 - hard boiled Egg (cut into halves)
  • 2 - onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - dry mustard
  • 1 tbsp - Butter
  • 1 tin - Mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup - Milk
  • 4 tbsp - grated cheese
  • 1 Capsicum
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Egg and Mushroom Cream Sauce

  • In a pan melt the butter, fry the onions and capsicums till golden brown
  • Add the mustard, pepper and salt and mix well with the onions and capsicum
  • Add the mushroom soup and milk and simmer, stirring constantly.
  • Add the cheese and continue to stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce has a smooth texture.
  • Put the eggs onto a flat dish and pour the sauce over it.
