Ingredients

  • 5 - eggs
  • For gram flour batter:
  • 8 tbsp - gram flour
  • 1.5 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • Sufficient water to make the batter
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Egg Pakodas

  • For gram flour batter: Mix the gram flour, red chilli powder, 3 tbsp oil and salt
  • Add sufficient water and make a slightly thick batter
  • Boil the eggs and cool
  • Remove the shell and cut into halves. Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Dip each half of the egg in the gram flour batter.
  • Deep fry on a medium flame till golden.
  • Serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
