  • Dry ingredients:
  • 2 cups - all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup - Sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp - baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - baking soda
  • Salt a pinch
  • 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp - Flax seed (optional)
  • Wet ingredients: 2 Bananas
  • 3/4 cup - Butter
  • 2 tbsp - vanilla pod
  • 1/2 cup - Milk
  • 1 cup - yogurt
  • Garnish: Banana rounds coated in chocolate sauce
  • Accompaniments: Chocolate sauce
  • Banana, ice Cream
  • How to Make Eggless Banana Cake with Cinnamon:

    1. Pre-preparation:
    2. Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees centigrade
    3. Grease a 9 inch baking tin. Place a baking sheet and keep aside.
    4. Soak flax seed in water for 5 mins and grind into a paste
    5. With a hand blender blend powdered sugar, butter and beat till creamy
    6. Add the curd and blend till creamy and frothy. Add the vanilla extract and blend again
    7. Add the baking soda and blend
    8. Add banana and blend again till completely mashed
    9. Sieve through the dry ingredients two to three times to remove any lumps
    10. Gradually and gently fold in the liquid to the dry ingredients till a lump free batter is formed
    11. Transfer the batter to the cake tin and bake at 200 degrees centigrade for approximately 35-40 mins
    12. Insert a long needle or toothpick to check if the cake is done.
    13. Once done, remove and let it cool.
    14. Flip it over a plate and release the cake from the bake tin.
    15. Spread the frosting and garnish with banana roundels accompanied with vanilla ice cream
