Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Wheat flour
  • 1 cup - rolled oats
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - baking soda
  • 3 tbsp - vegetable shortening
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 2 tbsp - ground flaxseeds
  • 6 tbsp - water
  • 1/4 cup - Sugar
  • 1/4 cup - Almond Milk
  • 1/4 cup - chocolate chips

How to Make Eggless Oats Chocolate Chips Scones

  • Preheat the oven to 425F.
  • In a bowl, add wheat flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, blend well with your fingers.
  • First add the shortening oil to the flour and make them crumbly texture.
  • Mix the ground flaxseed powder with 6 tbsp of water into thick paste and add to the almond milk, sugar and the chocolate chips.
  • Mix everything well to make them as dough.
  • Dust the dough with few spoons of all-purpose flour.
  • Roll the dough with a rolling pin to a thick disc.
  • Cut the disc into 8 wedges.
  • Transfer the wedges to a cookie sheet, leave at least few space between the scones.
  • Brush on top of the scones with almond milk and bake for 20 minutes.
