  • 1 cup - Whole Wheat pastry flour
  • 1 cup - rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup - Raisins or golden Raisins
  • 100 gm - Dark chocolate bar (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp - Cooking oil
  • Milk for brushing
  • 1 tsp - Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Baking soda
  • 3 tbsp - Apple sauce
  • 2 tbsp - Maple syrup
  • How to Make Eggless Raisins and Chocolate Breakfast Scones:

    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. Take the flour, rolled oats, raisins, chopped chocolate bar, baking powder and baking soda together in a bowl and mix well.
    3. Meanwhile mix the oil, apple sauce and maple syrup together in a bowl.
    4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and knead into a soft dough (sprinkle water if needed).
    5. Dust the dough and roll into a thick disc. Cut the disc into triangular scones.
    6. Arrange the scones over a baking sheet lined over a baking tray, brush them slightly with milk and bake for 20-25 minutes in middle rack.
    7. Store them in airtight box and enjoy with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.
