How to Make Eggless Strawberry Shortcake

  • Add 1 tbsp sugar and strawberry chunks together and keep aside for a few minutes.
  • Whip the cream until it holds a soft peak, cover and refrigerate for a few minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  • In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and 2 tbsp sugar and mix.
  • Add small cubes of butter and mix until you get a coarse mixture.
  • Transfer it to a large bowl, make a well and pour the milk.
  • Stir gently with a fork.
  • Grease a cake pan, pour the batter and bake for 10 minutes or until it has risen and become golden brown.
  • Remove from the pan and slice the biscuits as you desire.
  • Decorate with a few strawberries and whipped cream and serve.
