  • 1 cup - Whole Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp - Salt
  • 1/4 cup - Sliced Almonds
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder (coarsely powdered)
  • 1/2 cup - Butter (room temperature)
  • Milk as required
  • How to Make Eggless Whole Wheat Almond Cookies:

    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. In a bowl mix the flour, sugar, salt, sliced almonds and cardamom powder well with your fingers.
    3. Add the butter and milk to the flour mixture to make a soft dough.
    4. Divide the dough into 20-22 equal parts and make them into balls and flatten each ball between both palms.
    5. Place the flattened ball in a baking sheet leaving some space between each cookie.
    6. Bake the cookies for about 18 minutes or until cookies are lightly golden brown in colour.
    7. Let the cookies cool down for two to three minutes before taking them off the cookie sheet.
    8. Serve with coffee or tea.
