  • 1 cup - whole Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tbsp. - baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 250 ml - Milk (approx.)
  • 3 tbsp. - Sugar
  • 3 tbsp. - butter, melted
  • Honey for serving
  • How to Make Eggless Wholewheat Waffles:

    1. In a mixing bowl, mix wheat flour, all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.
    2. Add in the milk and whip well. The batter should not be runny; it should be thick, so adjust milk accordingly.
    3. Now add in some melted butter and stir well.
    4. Set aside batter for 5 mins.
    5. Now, heat your waffle maker till it gets smoky. Brush/spray with some oil.
    6. Pour some batter into the maker and close it. Cook it according to the instructions on the waffle maker (approx. 4 to 5 mins). Keep a close watch to check that it does not char.
    7. Remove carefully and place on a plate.
    8. Drizzle as much honey or maple syrup as you like and serve.
