Ingredients

  • 500 g - bacon without rind, chopped into bits
  • 4 - eggs, beaten
  • 2 - large tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 tbsp - breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - pepper
  • 1 tsp - Worcestershire sauce
  • 100 g - grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp - Butter

How to Make Eggs And Bacon Casserole

  • Boil the chopped bacon in a little water for about 15 minutes.
  • Butter 6 small oven-safe dishes.
  • Divide the cooked bacon into 6 portions and spoon it into the buttered dishes.
  • Place the tomato slices on top of the bacon.
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce, then add a layer of breadcrumbs on top.
  • Pour the beaten eggs on the breadcrumbs and sprinkle salt and pepper.
  • Spread the grated cheese as the topmost layer.
  • Bake the 6 individual casseroles in a moderate oven (355 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 25-30 minutes.
