Ingredients

  • 4 Bananas
  • 4 apples
  • 4 Oranges
  • 8 Beetroots (cooked)
  • 1 Lettuce
  • 2 Pomegranates
  • 1 tin of Pineapple chunks
  • 1 Lime (thinly sliced)
  • 1/4 cup - Sugar (optional)
  • 1 cup - Peanuts (roasted & crushed)
  • 1/4 cup - red Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup - salad oil
  • How to Make Ensaladade Noche (Salad):

    1. Peel and thinly slice the apples, oranges, banana and beetroot.
    2. Remove the seed of the pomegranates.
    3. Remove 5-6 large outer leaves from the lettuce and shred the remaining lettuce.
    4. Line a shallow serving bowl with the lettuce, then add the shredded lettuce.
    5. Arrange the orange, beets, apples, banana and pineapple chunks in a decorative manner.
    6. Garnish with lemon slices.
    7. Sprinkle with sugar, pomegranate seeds and peanuts.
    8. Mix oil and vinegar until blended.
    9. Pour over salad just before serving.
