1 kg - Seer fish
4-5 crushed, garlic
100 ml, Oil for deep or shallow frying
2 tbsp - Chilli powder
1 tbsp - Coriander powder
1/2 - turmeric powder
Salt according to taste
1 tsp - Jeera powder
1 tsp - Fennel powder
1 tsp - Pepper powder
2 tbsp - Rice flour
1 tsp - Corn flour
1-2 tbsp - Olive or mustard oil
1 tbsp - Onion paste
1 tbsp - Garlic paste
1/2 tbsp - Ginger
2 tbsp - Lemon juice
3 tbsp - curd
Garnish: Fried curry leaves, garlic, onion
Accompaniments: Red hot chilli mayonnaise

How to Make Fish fry recipe
In a bowl, add all the marinade ingredients and mix well to make a paste.
Coat the fish pieces with this paste and marinate for at least an hour.
Heat the oil till it's hot.
Slide 2 to 3 fish pieces in the first batch without overcrowding.
Fry till crispy brown. The marinade has lemon juice and curd, so don't fry it for too long, or else it might overcook and be rubbery in texture.
Remove and place on a kitchen towel or paper napkin.
Repeat the process till all pieces are fried; set aside.
In the same oil, add some finely sliced cabbage and onion and remove on an absorbing paper.
Serve the cabbage and onion as a bed.
Fry some curry leaves and garlic ensuring the garlic isn't burnt.
Remove on an absorbing paper and sprinkle it on the fried fish as garnish.
Place some lemon wedges and serve with accompaniment of your choice.
