Ingredients

  • Boneless fish or salmon fish - 1/2 kg
  • Split peas dhal - 50 g
  • Egg -1
  • Oil to fry
  • To grind:
  • Pearl onions
  • Ginger - 1 inch piece
  • Garlic - 5
  • Saunf - 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon - small piece
  • Cloves -2
  • Cardamom - 1(small)
  • Few coriander leaves
  • green chillies -2
  • red chillies -3
  • salt to taste

How to Make Fish Kola

  • Wash the fish and steam. When it cools down, remove the skin and smash well.
  • Grind split peas dhal to fine powder and keep it aside.
  • Grind all the given items to fine thick paste.
  • Add small amount of water while grinding.
  • Add ground paste, egg, split peas, dhal powder to the smashed fish and smash the mixture well.
  • Make small fish balls (gooseberry size) and deep fry.
  • Serve with steamed rice.
