  • 2 cups - French beans pieces
  • 4 tbsp - Moong dal
  • 1 - Onion chopped
  • 2 - Green chillies slit
  • 2 tbsp - Grated coconut(optional)
  • 1/4 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 2 - Dry Red Chillies
  • 5 - Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • How to Make French beans Moong dal Stir-fry:

    1. Heat oil in a kadai. Add the mustard seeds, urad dal and dry red chillies. Let them crack.
    2. Meanwhile, soak the moong dal in hot water.
    3. Add the chopped onion pieces to the hot oil and stir them until they turn translucent.
    4. Now you need to add the slit green chillies and curry leaves.
    5. Cook for a while. Add the chopped French beans, soaked moong dal with enough salt to the kadai. Stir them occasionally.
    6. Add a half cup of water. Close the kadai with lid and cook them until the water evaporates or until the vegetables are well cooked.
    7. Add the grated coconut and turn off the stove.
    8. Ready to serve
