Ingredients

  • 200gm - Fried Channa dal
  • 4 Green chillies
  • 2 tbsp - Desiccated Coconut /fresh grated Coconut
  • 1/4 tsp - Jeera
  • 1/2 tsp -Tamarind paste (or 1tsp Lime juice)
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic (peeled)
  • Salt
  • 2tsp - Chopped, coriander
  • For tempering: 1tsp - Oil 1/4 -Mustard seeds
  • 6 Curry Patta leaves
  • 1tsp - Urad Dal Red Chilli (broken into pieces)
  • How to Make Fried channa dal chutney:

    1. Mix all ingredients for chutney and grind to a fine paste.
    2. Prepare tempering and pour this over chutney. Mix well and serve.
    3. Can be served with dosa/ idli/ pongal/ upma.
