  • 2 cup - coconut, grated
  • 2 cup - sugar
  • 2 tbsp - milk
  • 2 tsp - ghee
  • 3-4 - cardamom, crushed
  • A few - raisins/nuts

How to Make Fried Coconut Burfi

  • Heat ghee in a kadai, fry the coconut till it becomes light brown in colour.
  • Add sugar and keep stirring until the whole mixture becomes soft say about 20-30 mins
  • Then add milk and again stir for another 15 mins
  • Add the crushed cardamom and raisins/nuts.
  • Mix very well.
  • In the mean time, grease a tray and then pour the mixture and level it
  • Cut it in any desired shape
