Ingredients

  • 2 cup - coconut, grated
  • 2 cup - Sugar
  • 2 tbsp - Milk
  • 2 tsp - Ghee
  • 3-4 - cardamom, crushed
  • A few - raisins/nuts
  • How to Make Fried Coconut Burfi:

    1. Heat ghee in a kadai, fry the coconut till it becomes light brown in colour.
    2. Add sugar and keep stirring until the whole mixture becomes soft say about 20-30 mins
    3. Then add milk and again stir for another 15 mins
    4. Add the crushed cardamom and raisins/nuts.
    5. Mix very well.
    6. In the mean time, grease a tray and then pour the mixture and level it
    7. Cut it in any desired shape
