Ingredients

  • For the filling:
  • 1/2 cup - Channa dal (soaked for 2 hours and coarsely ground)
  • 500g - Paneer-
  • 5 - Red Chilli
  • 2 tsp - chaat masala
  • 1 piece - Ginger
  • 6 - Green chilli
  • For the tikki:
  • 4 - medium potatoes, boiled.
  • 1/4th tsp - Corn flour.
  • How to Make Fried Paneer Tikki:

    1. Heat oil in pan. Add ginger, green chillies and fry for minute.
    2. Add channa dal, salt, red chilli and chaat masala.
    3. Fry till dal is done well.
    4. Add the paneer and mix well.
    5. Mash the potatoes. Then take 1.5 tbsps of potatoes in the palm and flatten it.
    6. Place 1/2 tsp of filling on it and cover.
    7. Shape into tikkis and toss it in corn flour.
    8. Shallow fry it till crisp and brown.
    9. Serve with green chutney and khajur-imli chutney.
