A sorbet is a frozen dessert made from sweetened water with flavouring content like fruit juice. Always use lemon juice in the sorbet mixture to enhance the flavor.


  • 450 gms. Raspberries and strawberries
  • Juice of 2 Lemons
  • Juice of 2 Oranges
  • 225 gms. Sugar
  • How to Make Fruit Sorbet:

    1. Puree the fruit in a blender or pass through a nylon sieve.
    2. Stir in the juices of oranges and lemons and add the sugar.
    3. Pour into a container and place in the freezer.
    4. Stir mixture with a fork every 2-3 hours to promote even freezing.
    5. Other fruit sorbets can be made by the same method, but always use lemon juice in the mixture to enhance the flavor.
