  • 1 - basic vanilla icecream
  • 1/2 cup - Raisins
  • 1/4 cup - Chopped crystallized ginger
  • 1/2 cup - Crushed almond macaroons
  • 1/2 cup - Rum of brandy
  • 1/2 cup - Chopped cherries glace
  • 1/2 cup - Chopped mixed peel

How to Make Fruity Ice-cream Bomb

  • Soak all the above fruits in rum or brandy, except macaroons.
  • Next day fold all this with crushed macaroons in the vanilla ice cream.
  • Turn it all in a foil-lined mould and freeze overnight,
  • Invert on a platter, decorate with some cream and cherries and serve.
  • If the fruits can be soaked for 3 to 4 days, the flavor is better.
