  • 2 cups - Maida
  • 1 1/2 tbsp - Poppy Seeds
  • 4 tbsp - ground Sugar
  • 5 tbsp - Ghee
  • How to Make Gajja:

    1. Mix together maida, poppy seeds and sugar.
    2. Rub in ghee and add enough water to form a soft dough.
    3. Divide the dough into small balls and shape each ball into a long finger.
    4. Press a little in the centre with your thumb and deep fry in ghee till crisp and golden.
    5. Drain, cool and store in air tight container.
