Ingredients

  • 6 - red, thick carrots, washed and scrapped
  • 1 tbsp - Butter
  • 1 tbsp - Honey
  • 1/2 tbsp - Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp - Ginger powder
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 1 tsp - chopped Mint leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • Pepper as per taste

How to Make Glazed Carrots

  • Peel carrots and nip off as little of the base end as possible to make a clean horizontal surface.
  • Insert a toothpick halfway inside the carrot base.
  • Boil water, and cook carrots for 3-4 minutes
  • Drain, cool and dab with a cloth
  • In a saucepan melt butter, add sugar and rest of the ingredients
  • Simmer till carrots are coated with sauce
  • Sprinkle chopped mint leaves and pepper.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
