Ingredients

  • 3 cups - Water.
  • 1.5 kgs - Pork.
  • 6 - green chillies.
  • 2 Pods (whole) - Garlic.
  • 1 units - Ginger.
  • 1 kg - Potatoes.
  • 2 - Bay Leaves.
  • A Little Salt| To grind:
  • 10 - Cloves.
  • 2 sticks - Cinnamon.
  • 5 - Medium Onions.
  • 15 - pepper Corns.
  • 20 - Dry red chillies.
  • 1 tbsp - Jeera/Cumin Seeds.
  • 2 tbsp - Coriander/Dhania.
  • 1 Inch - Turmeric/Haldi.
  • 3 tbsp - Vinegar.

How to Make Goan Pork Bafat

  • Cut and wash the meat.
  • Grind the masala items.
  • Slice everything else.
  • Mix meat, ground masala, cloves, cinnamon, salt and vinegar to taste with water.
  • Cook for one hour till the meat is tender, then add potatoes, sliced ingredients and ghee.
  • Boil till everything is cooked.
