Ingredients

  • 5-6 large potatoes, chopped into small cubes
  • 6-7 green chillies, chopped fine
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 1/4tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • Juice of two limes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric
  • Oil for cooking
  • How to Make Green chilli and aloo curry:

    1. In a pressure cooker, add oil then add mustard seeds.
    2. When they splutter, add onions and fry till transparent.
    3. Add green chillies, turmeric and salt.
    4. Fry for 2 minutes, then add potatoes and fry for 5 minutes.
    5. Pressure cook up to 2 whistles.
    6. Then, before serving, add lime juice.
    7. Tastes best with pooris.
