Green chutney and spinach burger is a raunchy twist to otherwise boring spinach. Spinach is loaded with minerals and antioxidants and is a great detoxifier. It purifies the blood and is mostly available in the rainy season.

While it becomes hard to serve this healthy veggie to the kids, you can do so by twisting it a little bit into a burger. Want to know how a unique and tasty spinach burger is made? Well, first you need to make a spinach tikki for the burger by deep frying it.

Then make the delicious green chutney by grinding raw mango with pomegranate seeds and brown sugar. Just place the spinach tikki into the burger along with nicely spread chutney and voila! The tasty spinach burger is ready to be served.

How to Make

  • To prepare the green chutney: Wet grind all ingredients to a paste to obtain a thick chutney.
  • To prepare the burger:
  • Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Shape into tikkis to fit the size of
    the burger bread.
  • Heat oil for deep frying and fry the tikkis 2-3 at a time till golden brown on both sides. Remove and keep aside.
  • To serve: Slit the burger bun or pan into halves. Spread the chutney on both the halves, place a burger tikki in the centre and cover with another chutney layered bun.
