  • 2 cups - green gram sprouts
  • 10 - soya chunks (cooked)
  • 2 tbsp - Rice flour
  • 1 - Onion (big and chopped finely)
  • 1 tsp - Fennel seeds (crushed)
  • 2 - Garlic Cloves (crushed)
  • 1 tsp - Ginger (finely chopped)
  • 4 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • A few sprigs - Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for Deep Frying
  • How to Make Green gram Sprouts and Soya Masala Vadai:

    1. Grind together green gram sprouts and soya chunks into a coarse paste, add rice flour, onions, fennel seeds, garlic cloves, ginger, green chillies, curry leaves and salt. Mix into a batter.
    2. Make medium sized balls with the batter and drop gently into hot oil, cook on both sides until they turn golden brown. Drain excess oil with a paper towel.
