  • Spinach (washed, blanched and pureed) - 1 cup
  • Green peas (boiled and pureed) - 1 cup
  • Gram flour - 2 cups
  • Whole Wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Ginger- Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Green chilli paste - 1 tbsp
  • Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Dry Mango powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • How to Make Green Rounds:

    1. Mix all ingredients except oil in a large bowl and knead a dough as for chapati, using water if needed.
    2. Make balls to the size of a large lemon and roll each ball to resemble a sausage.
    3. Grease a plate with oil and arrange the rolls side by side.
    4. Steam the rolls in pressure cooker for 20 minutes. Remove from cooker and cool for 5 minutes.
    5. Cut each roll with a sharp knife into 1/2 inch rounds. Fry them till light brown in hot oil.
    6. To serve, arrange on a bed of lettuce and serve with mint and coconut chutney.
