How to Make Green Tamarind Chutney

  • Roast the tamarind one by one directly on the flame. When the skin chars evenly, break it open.
  • Now remove the softened tamarind flesh.
  • Deseed in a vessel and allow to cool.
  • Now grind all the ingredients, except oil, into a paste.
  • Heat oil and pour it in the chutney.
  • Mix well. Store in an airtight bowl.
  • Refrigerate when not in use.
  • Serve cold.
