Ingredients

  • 250 g - green Tomatoes
  • 500 g - Rice
  • 1 cup - Coriander leaves
  • 10 - 12 Mint leaves
  • 1 - Green chilli
  • 3-4 - Garlic Cloves
  • 1 inch - Ginger
  • 1 - Onion
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - whole masala (lavang, daalchini, kalilimiri, bay leaves)
  • salt
  • oil
  • How to Make Green Tomato Pulao:

    1. Make a paste of green tomatoes, garlic, onion, ginger, coriander and mint leaves.
    2. Heat 4 tbsp oil in the pan and add the whole masala.
    3. Add the green tomato paste, salt, coriander powder and mix well.
    4. When it starts bubbling, add the rice and stir for 2 minutes
    5. Add water (twice the quantity of rice) and cook till rice is done.
